Apple will sue HTC  for patent infringement for infringing on 20 Apple patents related to the iPhone’s user interface, underlying architecture and hardware, not only in court but also by U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), which does not assign substitutes, but may prevent the importation of goods into the United States, violating patents.

This is a second case of phone patent as Apple has opened a case on two fronts, the same tactics as Nokia has used against Apple.

In the case against HTC’s Steve Jobs in a press release stated that they believe competition is healthy, but that competitors must invent their own original technology, do not steal theirs

“We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours.”
