Mp3Player nokia software is an MPEG Layer 3 audio player for Symbian Series 60 devices. Supports MPEG-1/2/2.5 files, from 8kHz to 44.1kHz, from 8kbps to 420kpbs.

Nokia phones, with skins, stereo playback, Bluetooth support

Features:
- English, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Italian, Russian;
- plays MP3 files (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-2.5, ABR, VBR);
- 44.1kHz, stereo playback (if phone supports it);
- playlist shows all MP3 files on phone, organized into folders;
- displays IDv1, bitrate, frequency and mono/stereo;
- volume control;
- displays time elapsed and the length of the track;
- easy-to-use, continuous fast-forward and rewind;
- associated to .MP3 files;
- send mp3 files or Mp3Player via Bluetooth, e-mail, infrared;

MP3 files
The purchase process requires the input of the IMEI number (obtain your 15-digit IMEI by pressing *#06# on your phone or by selecting Registration after starting the trial version of Mp3Player).

Unregistered version is fully functional, the full playback time is limited to 10 minutes.

Mp3 files may be transferred to the device using the following ways:
- Wireless Link: Requires a PC with an IrDa or Bluetooth port. It is strongly recommended to set the “Memory in use” to the MMC (Menu/Messaging/Options/Settings/Other)! After starting the connection on your phone, use the Wireless Link icon appearing on your PC desktop to send mp3 files to your phone.
- PCSuite: Requires a PC with an IrDa/Bluetooth/USB cable. Install and use the Nokia offical PCSuite software to transfer files to the MMC card (be sure to deactivate the automatic conversion of Mp3 files to WAV files on Nokia 3650!)
- MMC writer. Just copy them to the MMC, into any directory.

Fast forward and rewind
Mp3Player enables an easy-to-use, continuous fast forward and rewind. Just press the ABC or button, and navigate to the exact position using the joystick (left or right). The correct position may be easily determined using the elapsed time diplay and the progress bar.

    Ad-funded mobile games are being the most lucurative business.According to advertisement analysis paper, advertising will account for more than 20 percent of all mobile TV revenues on a worldwide basis by 2012. According to the most  advertisement analysts blogs more than 60 million ad-funded mobile games will be downloaded each year worldwide.By 2012, the survey results show, mobile TV advertising will account for $2.44 billion annually, or the vast majority of the $2.79 billion to be spent per year on all.

    PlayStation 3 surpassed Microsoft’s Xbox 360 rises 19%

    Shipments of Sony’s PlayStation 3 surpassed Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in February, as videogame console sales rose 19% year-over-year, a market research firm said.

    Sony shipped 280,800 PS3s during the month, beating the 254,600 units of Xbox 360 shipped by Microsoft, the NPD Group said Monday. Surpassing both consoles, however, was the Wii. Nintendo shipped 432,000 of the lower-priced consoles favored by casual gamers.

    Videogame consoles sold well in general in February, as sales rose to $480 million from $402.3 million a year ago. Even more impressive, however, were videogame sales, which soared 47% to $668.7 million from $453.7 million a year ago.

    “With several marquee titles still to come in the front half of the year, the industry is poised to achieve another year of record-breaking sales despite difficult economic conditions,” NPD analyst Anita Frazier, said in an e-mailed statement.

    The top selling game of the month was “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” on the Xbox 360. Publisher Activision shipped 296,200 units, inching out the No. 2 best seller “Devil May Cry 4,” which is also for the Xbox. Publisher Capcom USA shipped 295,200 units.
