Apple revenue charts has reported a growth in sales a 43% jump which means that there is a 36% increase in profits. Also a notable sales of Apple ipod The company shipped 2.3 million Macs in the quarter ended March 29, a 51% increase over the same period a year ago. Revenues increased 54%.

There were reports that apple revenue iphone sales has dropped in Europe as compared to America. Expectations had initially been just as high there as they were on our shores, but financial analysts say sales “have been far below [those expectations].” How bad? One analyst had expected half a million sales in Q4 2007 in France, Britain, and Germany combined. Actual sales: about 350,000. Figures are even worse for Q1 2008.

Apple has reported total revenues for the quarter of $7.51 billion, compared to $5.26 billion a year ago. The Net income has grown to $1.05 billion; or $1.16 a share, from $770 million, or 87 cents a share. For the third fiscal quarter, Apple forecast earnings of $1 per share on revenue of $7.2 billion.

In what appears to be a slight overreaction to an isolated case, an investigation has been launched into the safety of the iPod nano.

The investigation is focused on a particular lithium ion battery in model number MA099J/A, after the claims surfaced in Japan. A nano produced some sparks whilst charging, and the resultant seriousness with which the complaint is being handled might be more a result of fears about lithium ion batteries and laptop fires than specific concerns about iPod safety.
