After Firfox and Chrome now its IE  we know that Internet Explorer still after its defects it is the most used browser because of it being  flush in microsft . Browser war is truly under way, particularly where Chrome and Opera proposed to be the fastest browser. We still remmber the day we said Internet Will Overtake TV as Biggest Ad Medium in 2009, thi smeans browsers will hevaily rely on speed and compatibility . Internet Explorer has long had to watch from the sidelines, but it should be the next version to do something about, and it’s not peanuts . Microsoft has released a “Platform Preview ‘of IE9 which is meant to test and showcase some of the new technologies that we will get to see. This must include:

  • Follows standards far better than its predecessor
  • Improved HTML5 support with H.264
  • CSS 3 Support
  • GPU-accelerated graphics and text (Direct2D)
  • Improved Javascript engine which, according to Microsoft’s testing, approaching the fastest on the market

Adobe Reader attacks vulnerability

Security firm F-Secure has taken a closer look at what individual programs often informed attack to exploit a bug. Here you can see that most of the attacks as they register, is aimed at Adobe Reader.

Alone in the first two months of 2010 F-Secure has recorded 895 attacks and these are all 61% targeting Adobe Reader. Compared with 2008 and 2009, it is a sharp increase from 29% and 50%.

Opera Mobile browser got 50 million users

Opera the fast and famous browser achieved  and estimated 40 million users according to  latest “State of the Mobile Web” report. The report of January it is estimated that around 50 million people have used Web browser. It is 7.4 percent more than in December 2009 and 149% more than the same month a year ago. Remember that Among the most visited web sites, we include Facebook, Google, Myspace, YouTube and Wikipedia.

Together, they generated 23.3 billion page views in January – so it is approaching one billion page views a day! Compared to December 2009 is an increase of 12.7 percent and an increase of no less than 208 percent compared to January 2009.

Opera Huge data usage
All of those page views have brought a lot of data via Opera’s servers. In the month of January was 3,145,728 gigabytes of data handled by the servers – ie more than 3 petabytes of one month! This is an increase of 176 percent compared to previous years.
