Why Sony Ericsson refused to make Google mobile phone

Google’s new Model Nexus One, which is known not made by Google itself. They have instead been the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC to produce it for themselves. But actually HTC not their first choice.

Sony Ericsson declined Google
Google asked for Sony Ericsson, though they could imagine, to make Google’s first mobile. But it rejected Sony Ericsson says CEO Bert Nordberg, according to Sydsvenskan.

The model would have given Sony Ericcson an easy way onto the U.S. market, but according to Nordberg Sony Ericsson had better capture the market independently and with their own brand.

Swiss may ban violent games

When the debate on violent games is a maximum, then it is usually on the other side of the Earth it takes place in Australia but here in Europe we can now also be involved, since Switzerland is considering a ban on the games. The Alpine country has made two proposals on the table to tighten up around the sale of children’s games. One includes a prohibition to sell games not PEGI label and requiring ID from those who buy the games. The second proposal is more radical and totally recommend a ban on the sale of violent games. Both proposals have just passed the first round of treatment in the committee which looks at the case. The Committee will now inviting members from the stakeholders, retailers and game industry to provide input to the topic before the proposal is forwarded to the government. Among the games the dealers is a great desire that they get the opportunity to tighten up, than the government forces them to it.
