Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6 Announced
Asus just announced their new phablet in the Fonepad lineup. It seems to be a direct answer to the Note series from Samsung. Read more after the break.
The new device was presented at Computex 2013. It is equipped with a 6″ 1080p IPS+ display. It is running Android 4, but they didn’t specify exactly which version.
What is somewhat special with this device it that it is powered with an Intel Atom processor running at 1,6 GHz. Will be interesting to see how the performance compares to other ARM-based devices. There is also 3G connectivity, 2GB RAM and an 8 megapixels camera at the back. Another good thing is that it has two stereo speakers on the front, so we can expect some crisp sound from the phone.
The stylus that comes with the Fonepad Note FHD 6 aims it directly at the Samsung Galaxy Note territory. We will see later how it stacks up against the competition.
There is not yet any information on price and release date.
