After giving us a short glimpse of its UI in the official announcement's promo video, Jolla's Meego-based Sailfish OS got an extensive video demo, which offers a deeper look at its features. The still developing OS got shown off on Nokia N950 developer handset – a logical occurrence given the fact that most of the people behind the Sailfish project are ex-Nokia employees…

Last month, Jolla officially unveiled its MeeGo-based Sailfish OS and now the guys over at Engadget had a chance to take a closer look at the UI and other nifty features.

Earlier this year, back in July to be specific, the Finnish company named Jolla announced that they’d be developing a new mobile operating system based on MeeGo, called Sailfish . Since then, we haven’t had a landslide of information come out of the company, but we have had a couple of different occasions to see the OS in action…
