Microsoft has a new job description revealed that they are working to bring the Xbox gaming experience from Xbox Live for Windows Mobile. There has long been the game available for Windows Mobile, but it is certainly no secret that Apple currently sits quite heavy in the market for mobile games. However, Microsoft has a strong short game on the market with Xbox LiveThey now seem to want to download to your mobile.


In a new job description reveals Microsoft namely that they are looking for a person who, among other things can help bring Xbox Live games for Windows Mobile. It sounds also that they will try to integrate Xbox Live for Windows Mobile.

There is a long way from a job description for a finished product, but we hope to see something on this front from Microsoft sometime in the new year. Possibly in conjunction with the introduction of the next version of Windows Mobile, expected to be published in 2010.

Google Phone is presented probably Tuesday

After a month of rumors, speculations and various leaks for google mobile phone , both pictures and videos, it now seems that Google finally even come with an official launch of Google Phone, or Nexus One, as Android model also is called.

Google has for now convened a press conference regarding Android. The invitation does not say much more than that it’s about Android, and that press conference is being held now on Tuesday the 5th January at Google headquarters in Mountain View, California.

Oddly enough, this is just two days before the giant electronics exhibition CES will be kicked off in Las Vegas. You remember a few years back Apple did the same trick as they presented the first iPhone at a separate event while CES. It can not help but think that Google intends to make Apple feat.

Android Market will have 150,000 applications in 2010

According to Flurry analyst Simon Khalaf, predicts that the number of applications and games into Android Market, which is Google mobile software and games shop for Android phones, is likely to end up at between 100,000 and 150,000 applications at the end of 2010. There are currently around 20,000 applications in the Android Market.

Khalaf believes that this is made possible by Google, Motorola and Verizon’s overall effort to advertise Droid and thus Android operating system. Motorola has experienced great success with the Droid in the U.S. market, and leaked information about Nexus One, believed to be Google’s own mobile, has also generated interest around Android. Additionally, a number expected Android phones during 2010, and hence more applications.

If Khalaf prediction must come true, it is therefore necessary, with about several thousand more applications in the program store. 50 Plus new Android phones will come in 2010

HTC, Acer and Sony Ericsson have presented plans .Several of the major mobile manufacturers have already announced ambitious Android plans. Acer will introduce for example five or six units during the first six months of 2010. Within the same time HTC will launch a similar number, and CCS Insight expects that Motorola will launch at least 10 different models.During the first quarter will Sony Ericsson begin selling its first Android phone, Xperia X10 and it is expected that more will follow over the years.
