10 tips for making the phone battery work longer

1. Turn off Bluetooth
When Bluetooth is not used, the feature turned off. Many cell phones use extra and unnecessary power from the battery when Bluetooth is turned on.

2. Drop 3G network

It’s nice when the internet connection on your mobile is instant, but the speed at the expense of power.

Therefore, it is an advantage to turn 3G off in mobile phone and have it run on the old 2G mobile networks. You will experience a significant improvement of battery power, and it has no effect on either voice quality or SMS messages.

Look under “Settings” in the mobile phone to find the function.

3. Turn down the lights

The screen often use very little power. The less light you have in the screen, the less power for mobile users.

There is also power to spare, if you activate the Light Sensor in mobile phone (if it has any). Light Sensor adjusts the brightness of the surroundings, and offers great savings.

4. Switch LEDs

Many cell phones have LEDs that indicate missed calls or SMS messages. Can this be disabled, it is an advantage.

5. Beware of cell phone does not get too hot

The temperature is casting for electron flow in an electrical circuit.

High temp. gives a greater activity of the electrons, so a battery will drain faster for power if the battery is in an ambient temp. for example. 25 degrees than if the battery is in an environment with an ambient temp of -5 degrees.

So make sure your mobile is not too hot.

It is also important for battery life, it is not completely discharged. Optimal for a Lion battery is to use 25 percent, before charging again.

6. Drop vibration

Vibrator by message or call is often just fine – but it also uses power. Drop vibration when it is not necessary.

7. Let your mobile sleep in peace
